School education program 2020/2021 #MONTYLIFE
The motivational name of the school educational program #MONTYLIFE indicates the focus of the program on life in our country at Monty school. We will be accompanied throughout the year by rooms or nearby places that we visit together daily. We will explore the nursery together from the cellar to the attic and we will not forget the street and the garden that surrounds it. In addition, we will look at all the places with slightly different eyes to find out what is hidden in them and what it offers us. We want to keep our eyes wide open and pay attention to things that we might otherwise overlook. In addition, each integrated block is accompanied by a special #hashtag, which indicates who we can become in a given place. In this way, children delve deeper into familiar places and learn that in the bathroom they do not just have to wash boring hands, but they can, for example, immerse themselves in the underwater world through water and their imagination, try experiments with water, learn to save it or find out for which water can actually be used. The rooms will be interconnected in all areas of the educational process.
Kindergarten, as we understand it, should be a place of well-being, safety, security, a place that allows the child's all-round development and which in a non-violent way awakens curiosity, creativity, healthy self-confidence, empathy, cooperation, self-reflection, teaches children to understand connections, the mutual dependence of nature, human life, and culture.
We all have the opportunity to discover our possibilities, but also the diversity of the world, to learn clear communication that contributes to mutual rapprochement, understanding, to pay attention to values such as friendship, tolerance, to cultivate kindness and a sense of difference. Our goal is to make children feel like we are here for each other. That in moments when they feel insecure, they have someone to turn to, that the other (adult, friend) will give them a helping hand. And at the same time to create openness in themselves, readiness to offer their help and heart to those who need us, that we are here for each other - together - in moments of well-being, shared joy, but also in moments of failure, sadness, discomfort with which no one is left alone.
